Tell Us About Yourself (Name, City, Occupation, Etc.)
Lizzy Mathis, Los Angeles, Model/Actress/On Tv Personality/Founder: TheCoolMom.co
What past experiences have shaped your career path?
Modeling led me into acting which led me into television and motherhood encouraged me to start my site.
What are your thoughts on “having it all”? Myth or reality? What do you think about work/life balance?
Reality for sure! I definitely have to prioritize at certain times one or the other but that is why I started The Cool Mom Co. I loved my career but I also loved being a new mom and my site is the perfect balance between the two.
What things do you always make time for?
My family. They keep me centered, inspired and laughing!
You’re a busy mama. Do you have any tips for time management?
Be intentional with your time. Gone are the days of living on a whim. Now I make sure that my work time during the day is for work and when it turns 3pm, it is family time. I try hard to give them my complete focus during our late afternoon/evenings while I am making dinner, doing activities with them and getting them ready for bed.

What are your sources of inspiration?
I am so fortunate to have so many powerful, driven mamas around me that are my friends. They inspire me to be better in every way!
Describe your personal style and how it’s evolved with the phases of your life
I have always been a jeans, t-shirt and sneakers kind of girl. Now, I try to dress up my jeans a tad bit more by adding blazers or simple jewelry and wear all different flats instead of just sneakers. Keeping my pieces chic and wearable is important to my lifestyle.
What’s your favorite AELLA item right now and why? Or What AELLA item do you need in your wardrobe now?
The black and white button down blouse is super cute with the black detailing on the wrists and front. It’s chic and comfy and pairs seamlessly with a pair of light wash denim and cute flats.
